MINOR DEVELOPMENT (MD):
5-ON-5, FULL ICE GAMES, TPH Academy

Our Minor Development (MD) program offers a 20 game season and all games are played on the FULL ICE surface. Pre-planned, structured practices include challenging drills that are focused on proper skating technique, puck control, passing/receiving passes, and shooting techniques.
Structured (chalk) board time before every game ensures that players are learning the aspects of the game such as positions, team strategy, off-sides and icing.

Hound Dawgs - Minor Development (MD)

40 sessions
20 FULL ICE games
20 practice sessions with TPH Academy

The Hound Dawgs MD program is designed for intermediate to advanced skaters ages 6-10 years old that are ready to learn the full ice game of hockey.

Games are played on the full ice surface,
Official game rules such as off-sides and icing are followed and 'changing on the fly' is introduced!

2 hours of ice per week;
Saturday-Games
Sunday-Practice (facilitated by TPH Academy)

The Hound Dawgs offer a 20 game season.
Includes year end Championship Tournament

* All players will be charged a bump up fee () to join our MD program.
This fee helps offset the additional cost of refs, timekeepers as well
as the cost of having TPH Academy facilitate the practices.

Preseason Warm Up Clinic

Hosted by TPH Academy

This 'Members Only' clinic is designed for players registered in the
Beagles and Hound Dawgs divisions.

With 6 hours of on ice instruction in early September this development clinic is a great warm up before the season begins and teams are selected!
